Depart the hotel at 8:00 on your private comfortable air-conditioned vehicle toward Baria, a journey back in time to Long Tan history legendary victory. Sit back, relax and enjoy this amazing quick escape with icy cold beers/mineral waters/ soft drinks chilled on board while driving through bustling streets in the city to the peaceful quiet countryside of Baria. Learn the story of historic battle of Long Tan occurred on the afternoon of 18 August 1966, just two months after the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) established its base at Nui Dat in the heart of Phuoc Tuy province, South Vietnam.

Visit the old bunkers, Kangaroo Pad, the battalian’s flag pole, SAS Hill (Nui Dat hill) – the former base of Australian army. Continue the private journey to Luscombe airfield in a small village, then visit Nui Dat kindergarten. Next, you will visit the Horseshoe Fire Base Support from the main street due to the bombs & landmines protected areas. Be prepared to spare a moment to commemorate 18 soldiers at the Long Tan Cross with flowers & incense before the continuity to delve in Phuoc Long tunnels, and visit the war museum nearby.

Back to your private a/c vehicle, journey back to Baria for a nice lunch with selected dishes & free flowing drinks before driving to Vung Tau beach for a quick visit then returning to your hotel or your drop off at desired location.
